ComMicPlanCommunity Health SaaS

A multi-organisation SaaS for public health programmes. It turns paper-based micro-planning into one connected system: admins design forms and track patients on the web, and field workers collect data offline on a tablet.

The starting point

The challenge

Public health programmes for diseases such as dengue and malaria run across many organisations, projects and field teams. Data collection lived in scattered paper forms and spreadsheets, so follow-ups were missed and programme leads had no live view of progress.

The product had to serve two very different users: admins who configure organisations, projects and forms on a desktop, and field workers who visit households with patchy internet and need a fast, simple tablet flow.

What we set out to do

Design goals

01

Let admins switch between organisations and projects without losing context

02

Give programme teams a form builder with question logic, versions and reusable templates

03

Track each patient from the first visit through every scheduled follow-up

04

Design an offline-first tablet app so field workers keep working without a connection

05

Keep onboarding simple with phone number and OTP verification

The solution

What I did

On the web, a persistent organisation and project switcher anchors every screen. The dashboard surfaces organisations, projects, forms and users at a glance, with engagement trends and recent projects beside them.

The form builder splits into a Questionnaire tab and a Logic Flow tab, so teams write questions first and then add skip and follow-up rules visually. Forms carry versions, deployment status and response summaries, and templates let teams reuse proven forms across projects.

Each patient gets a profile with a summary, a follow-up timeline and raw data, so health workers see what is due next. On the tablet, field workers see today's progress, onboard new users with OTP verification, complete tasks by day and push pending forms from a clear Synced and Not Synced status screen.
